Synopsis (Englisch)

A kurdish village in Northern Syria – the situation of the people: past, present, the prospect of a brighter future. Hamu and the other kurdish children meet at the tiny public school, at Koran lessons under a tree in the centre of the village, at work in the fields – and they get exploited everywhere.

Germany

35 year old Hamu lives a safe but hopeless life. To him, it’s like a cold summer. He’s an uneducated man without a job, following the maxim “appearance is everything”.
